The Faribault County Humane Society was originally started
in 1985 by a group of people that wanted to help save animals. Things went off track after a few years so in July of 2008
Staci Thompson and Sue Mensing decided they wanted to help rescue the counties mistreated and unclaimed animals. Our group
holds biweekly meetings as we work towards our goal of a county humane society. This is something that Faribault County desperately
needs and we have formed our non-profit organization to work towards this goal.
